Cybronics announces the launch of an innovative cowatching feature for CanalPlay, allowing subscribers to share their streaming experience with friends and family, even non-subscribers.



As part of this partnership with CanalPlay, the SVOD service of Canal+ Group, Cybronics developed a social cowatching solution based on its Watsh technology.

Watch together, remotely

This feature allows CanalPlay subscribers to invite friends or family, even non-subscribers, to watch a movie or TV series together. Participants view the content in perfect synchronization, as if they were in the same room.

Real-time communication

Thanks to WebRTC technology integration, participants can communicate in real-time during viewing via an integrated video conference. They can comment, react and share their emotions throughout the program.

Built on Watsh technology

This solution is built on Watsh, the cowatching platform developed by Cybronics. Watsh ensures perfect video playback synchronization between all participants and manages peer-to-peer audio/video communications.
