Cybronics announces its collaboration with Orange for the development of the application ecosystem for the Clé TV V2, the HDMI dongle that transforms any television into a connected Smart TV.
As part of this strategic partnership, Cybronics designed and developed several key technological components essential to the success of Orange's Clé TV V2 platform.
An innovative SDK to democratize streaming
Cybronics developed the "Orange Cast" SDK, a technical solution enabling application publishers to easily create streaming services compatible with the Clé TV. Inspired by the Google Cast protocol, this SDK provides developers with a familiar interface and significantly reduces porting time for existing applications.
Demonstration applications
To support the SDK launch, Cybronics designed and developed several reference applications using Orange Cast, demonstrating the platform's capabilities and flexibility.
OCS now available on the Clé TV
Cybronics adapted OCS's Google Cast receiver to make it compatible with the Orange Cast SDK. This integration allows OCS subscribers to enjoy their favorite streaming service directly on Orange's Clé TV.
La Clé PC: innovation unveiled at Orange Hello Show 2018
Cybronics also developed an innovative remote control application allowing the Clé TV to be used to access remote PC virtual machines. Named "La Clé PC", this feature was unveiled at the Orange Hello Show 2018, illustrating the platform's potential beyond simple video streaming.

About the Clé TV 2
The Clé TV 2 plugs directly into your TV's HDMI port and connects via wifi to your Livebox or any other router. It allows you to stream Orange TV programs live or on-demand (Replay) as well as your video-on-demand playlists directly to your screen.
From your smartphone or tablet, you can cast Orange TV programs live or on-demand, as well as your photos, music and videos to your television screen. With the Clé TV 2, enjoy the essentials of your Orange TV subscription on a second television, without a TV decoder.
The Clé TV 2 lets you take all your Orange TV programs with you, even on vacation. It also works on mobile networks, via an Airbox or tethering from your 4G or 5G mobile device.
